The Brief: Spotify needed to develop a coherent story for the launch of the Nigerian afro-pop sensation, DaVido and his new album Goodtimes. Key to the launch was the communication and introduction of the unique culture and sounds of Western Africa.
Approach: As executive producers, Unsigned was asked by Spotify to deliver portraits that see into a families past and explain West Africa's cultural roots, where the family is everything.
Activation: With the crew assembled and perfect venue ready to go it was over to Unsigned's own, Mabdulle, to capture the moment - acting as Photographer and Art Director, Mabdulle delivered a number of authentic, stylish and celebratory family portraits accommodating for both video and stills.
